English dip pen stand in brass, with bristle nib wipe base. 120mm tall, 80mm x 35mm at the base. The base tray contains a black bristle insert to rest/clean the pens placed nib downward. The periphery of the base tray is decorated with incuse geometric pattern. The back is decorated by upthrust acanthus leaf swags and topped by a fleur-de-lys motif. The base to back and back to top loop are riveted in place with two brass rivets at each point. There is a registered design number stamped on the back that reads: RD 214024.
